While ranch dressing is our favorite, I like to have a second choice for salad dressing when we have company sometimes.  When we serve lunch to the pioneer school, this is one of the dressings we take for salads.



  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup prepared mustard {I use whatever I have on hand; yellow, Dijon or honey}
  • 1/3 honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Whisk all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl.  Store in a jar in the refrigerator for several weeks.
